Logpile Triptych

Took a walk round Hawshead area today - with so much of the Lakes full of tourists, Hawkshead was surprisingly quiet. Lighting was pretty flat today, with unusually featureless clouds (rare up here). 

I loved the textures in log-ends in this log pile, and took the three images with the thought of turning it into a triptych. 

Also rather loved the lamb in the extra resting on it's Mum's head.
