Up In The Air
Ollie dog and I went to the area in Fishers Green where we have heard nightingales singing in the past. They sing mainly at dawn and dusk but can also sing during the day. When we arrived a birder, who I have met many times before, was there and had heard a nightingale singing an hour previously. We weren't lucky today.
The above is a heron which has just taken off from the little pond in the Norman's Pond area. I was fairly close so decided to blip it, even though I featured a heron yesterday.
The skies are getting a bit more interesting aviation-wise since lockdown has been eased. Great to see a Jet Provost aloft. (Extras)
