Hard to follow

Due to some unexplained road-digging-up, we find ourselves in the middle of a one-way system controlled by temporary traffic lights.

The handy sign is to remind us not to drive straight into oncoming cars.

This would be more useful if the workmen wouldn’t park their vans blocking any view of the flow of traffic either side of the gate.
