Front Gate Lizard

I saw Stumpy on the front wall. When I opened the door he scurried down. I carefully crept up and caught him close to his home. As you can see, the tail is growing in quite nicely. The tip still has some scales to grow, but I think he has done a fine job matching the rest of the body.

The red sage is blooming and a hummingbird zoomed in right next to me for an early afternoon snack. I wasn't quick enough to change settings to capture her but I will have all summer to get that job done.

I am grateful for the flowers and warm weather that are bringing the wildlife right to me
