went out for lunch

The café in the West Acre garden centre has been closed for a long time. It opened last week but today was the first chance we had to go. there are not many tables but we got one without any trouble. They always have interesting choices, today was pork pie with caramelized onions and marmalade, strange but interesting. By the time I got to order they had sold out, had to make do with a bacon roll, not a bad substitute.
The blip is what we had following our main course, not exactly desert. West Acre sells very good quality and interesting plants, always difficult to resist
