Unmellow yellow

Out on a motorbike ride today taking in various bits of east Leicestershire, Rutland, and Northamptonshire. This was a field entrance we stopped in to drink water and remove a layer from under our bike jackets as it was quite warm.  

Oil seed rape flowers are about the worst shade of yellow for a whole field, yet virtually the same shade dotted about as clumps of dandelions seems cheerful and encouraging.
