Inviting footpath.

It was so very good to be out in the Surrey countryside. A very kind WI friend offered to take me for a car ride around the lanes. She knew I had been hankering to get out. We had hoped to see bluebells but there is no sign as yet. Most car parks we passed were full as people took advantage of the beautiful weather, but we found a quiet spot to pull off the road. Gwenda had brought a flask of hot water with a choice of tea or coffee, together with some delicious home made biscuits. This little path led enticingly off into the woods, another time maybe.. it was so kind of Gwenda to give me this treat.
Another treat this afternoon when my hairdresser came and I at last had my hair cut, and she did Normous too! Such a relief.
