Forgotten Slippers

A little sad today. L is off to respite tonight, and she gets so anxious about the separation. It feels unkind to send her, but adult services will soon be upon us, and one day we won't be around to care for her.   She was sobbing as she got in the taxi this morning, whilst gamely trying to put a brave face on it.

And I forgot to put her slippers in.
