Radar

For the first time this year I risked going on a  ride around the back of the airport.
By the end of summer the path is impassable on a  bike because bramble and hawthorn tendrils reach out over the path and exposed skin and clothes get ripped by them. I once came home covered in blood and my wife was not amused when it transpired that I had not been ina terrible accident!!!
Also - there are a few parts where the path is ALWAYS wet - sometime up to a foot deep in mud with only a few bit where you can stop - on a bike it is impossible unless you like spending ages cleaning the bike afterwards - and like carrying the thing!

Anyway - today the path was clear - only one muddy patch and someone has hacked a path through the undergrowth at that point.
This is actually worrying - I didn't realise things were that dry!



Anyway - back to the point - this is the radar system from the airport control tower. It is basically in the middle of a hedge dividing 2 fields.
