Fade to Grey

I woke to thick fog his morning, so decided to go for a quick walk along the Thames to see what I could (or couldn't I should say) see.

I wish you could have heard the eerie, slightly spooky, opera singing that was coming from the Trinity College of Music whilst I was taking this photo. It created a very mysterious atmosphere in the fog. Unfortunately, this was spoilt (or should that be spoiled?.. the very wise Lazooligirl will know) when I removed my arm from the railing that I'd been leaning on and discovered it was covered in bird s**t droppings. Splendid!
