Another one bites the dust

As the forecast was reasonable we got up at crack of Sparrow and drove to Glen Esk. We got on our bikes and cycled up Glen Mark to a cottage where we left them. Our objective was Mount Keen, one of the easiest hills in Scotland as you follow a vehicle track and then a track all the way to the top. It was mild but quite hazy so the views from the top didn’t give an acceptable blip in my eyes. I chose the view looking down Glen Mark as we went up the hill in the morning; the bikes were by the upper of the two buildings. This was the first of the mainland extremity Munros so we are now down to them plus Ben Alder.

Best on black.
