Gifts

Told the kids as I got them out the bath and ran down to start making their tea that I was stressed (I had a meeting at 8 and needed to have them fed, read-to etc by the time I needed to be on there). About ten minutes later both kids appeared in the kitchen with these ‘cards’ and gifts from their treasures in their room for me “because you’re stressed”. Little loves. Allegra then said she had another gift, and gave me a hug. And they both proceeded to help me lay the table etc or whatever I asked them to do.
