Crocus Focus
Let us focus
On the crocus
Pushing through the soil
Bright shade
On parade
Hope the rain won't spoil
Colours bright
What a sight
On a dull, grey day
Heralding Spring
Hopes bring
They now light the way
Autumn fruit
Seed to root
The seasons' cycle turn
Farmers sow
Crops grow
Man he now must learn
Love our Earth
That's her worth
She will love us back
Gently tend
Be her friend
Nought will we ever lack
Know our limits
What she permits
She will stay on our side
Overuse leads
To ungrown seeds
And down the slope we slide
Let us focus
On the crocus
Such a pretty sight
Ignore warning
Ideas dawning
Sorry will be our plight
