The Blended Family

The other sisters or misters (sisters from other men!) turned up today to see the recuperating eldest child. I love that they all get on and that my ex-husband and I also muddle along well to enable all this connection. The 'patient' is recovering well although I also think she is enjoying having us all run around after her. In fairness I don't mind as a 23 year old she has really stepped up to be a great help around the house and is a pretty good cook. 

Meanwhile continuing on the injury theme, Steve was off to visit a specialist regarding his hip that he injured after a ski accident last year - an injury that has got progressively worse and is causing him to limp. The prognosis is not at this stage a hip replacement but treatment for a large bursitis. Fingers crossed he sight see some relief soon to the continuing pain, no fun.
