Orange Tip Butterfly
What a beautiful warm sunny day. After working in the morning I went up to the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust reserve at Staveley with my friend H. So good to meet up with H, it’s been a while. Quiet on the bird front, but lovely to see a lot more butterflies appearing now, a yellow brimstone was a real treat. It was this orange tip that gave me second chances returning several times to this dandelion flower. We stopped in Knaresborough on the way back where the castle was glowing in the sunshine against the blue sky - a summer holiday feel today, I had ice cream
