right out my front door

When I opened the front door to let Laney out first thing this morning, this lovely Red-tailed Hawk was perched 20 yards away. So I quickly grabbed my camera and went out in my PJs to get today's blip. 
It was a quiet, crisp morning and as soon as I started clicking the shutter the hawk gave me the evil eye. See extras. At that moment I was glad I was too big to be considered as a suitable breakfast.
