Ribble Viaduct

We had a beautiful circuitous drive home, taking the high moors and down past the Ribble Viaduct, last seen when some of us did that bit of the Dales Way, then into Wensleydale, the upper Eden Valley, Teesdale and Weardale. As we approached Corbridge ion the Tyne we stopped for a quick walk round Blanchland.

I had a lengthy online questionnaire to fill in for the private company that processes NHS appointments about my foot then had to phone to book a phone appointment through them. I’ll be granted a phone interview by a “clinician” on 7 May. #3 daughter sent me a link to the Tyneside NHS website where I found the same exercises Andrea gave me some time ago. However it also gave good advice and suggested freezing a plastic bottle of water and rolling the sole of the foot over it.

It’s a gorgeous warm sunny afternoon, we have unloaded the van and we have invited Carol, Phil, Chris and Ailie over for a drink.
