Starvecrow Woods

Another East Sussex woodland carpeted with wood anemones and bluebells but under threat from 'development'. This time its not more housing but the expansion of a quarry to extract more clay to make bricks for more housing.

Butterfly activity is cranking up: first Holly Blue and Small White of the season plus more Peacock, Red Admiral, Green-veined White and Commas.
