bath time

My poor old car.  

It's been about 18 months since it was last cleaned.  In those 18 months or so it's acted as a removal van and dump truck.  It's been parked for the most part on a building site and has had to endure the odd anonymous scrape that comes from living in a town - and on a building site.

I took it to the car wash this morning.  It's scrubbed up really well - much better than I expected.  

As I waited, it struck me that something so trivial, in the grand scheme of things, could engender a real sense of normality.
