Confused!

Lotions and potions, which one to choose. Is this the right section? I'm so confused. I asked the friendly clerk, but that only lead to more questions. Are you looking for a balm, a cream, an emollient, an ointment. Sensitive, intense, extra moisture or protection. My head is spinning, I just need some help.
If there's anyone out there that can help me find that HARD to explain cream I would be ever so greatful.
