Easter candles

Decorated candles, often attached to a slightly larger piece of wood, are a big tradition here for Greek Easter, which is on 2 May. People try to be the first to light them from the Priest’s candle in a parade (I hope I’ve remembered that correctly). Many shops are selling them and I liked these because they mimic the soldiers’ uniforms.
A nice walk then some study, a Pilates class with grumbles and girlie chat - both needed and enjoyable.
A delicious stuffed chicken roll for dinner then more study. I’m teaching introductory Economics in my business class tomorrow - that was my undergrad degree - I’ve enjoyed preparing it so I hope it goes well.
