Beautiful morning

This morning I walked with a new group. I am able to do this now that I am retired and have a lot more spare time. Our house is on the north side of the Port Hills. We walked along the top of the hills on the Crater Rim track looking to the south over Lyttelton Harbour. There was not a breath of wind and the temperature was around 20°C. The full walk was 10 km. The harbour looked like glass and was a lovely blue colour. We returned along the Summit Road for a lovely morning tea at the Sign of the Kiwi Cafe. There were about 50 people there all sitting outside in the beautiful sunshine. Apart from not getting paid I am really enjoying this new lifestyle.
