Pie Central

There is no shortage of choice for a good pie in Blackheath. Local rumour has it that the two pubs in town, Gardners Inn and The New Ivanhoe, were engaged in pie wars for many years, finally resolved when The Ivanhoe "kidnapped" the pie maker from Gardners.
Sounds apocryphal and I'm sure that one of the Blackheath Blippers will set the record straight.
The Ivanhoe has quality classical Aussie pies, whereas Bakehouse on Wentworth has a bewildering array of good stuff (see extra) - too much choice and the waistline suffers accordingly ;-)
