Loney Girl

Adieu , Mr. Batuan.

Today, I sadly bid goodbye to a towering figure all 30-some meters tall. Thank you for sheltering us from the fierce Nort-East winds and the sweltering summer heat.

This is a "male" Batuan tree and his "wife" lives in the property adjacent to ours. He doesn't bear fruit but somehow because of him Mrs. Batuan never stops bearing tiny round nuggets of fruit the whole year round. We use them as a souring agent in our food much like the way Tamarind is used by others.

Adieu, Mr. Batuan.
