Bath Time

We've had a pond in our garden for some time now and last winter I redesigned it somewhat to increase the size of the pond itself but especially the stones leading up to the edge.

Over the months it's been great to watch the birds (and the odd hedgehog in the evening) enjoying a drink but it's always a bit of a frenzy when the birds swoop down for a bath.

At times I've seen a variety of birds all enjoying a wee "freshen up" and it was the same today.

I didn't have time to get the "Big Camera" so had to make do with the phone... But hopefully you'll get the idea of the "much splashing about by the feathered kind".
