Our family of great tits have moved back in!

We’ve been trying to figure out if this is year 6 or 7 that they’ve used this spot but either way, we are happy that they’ve returned.

It’s such an obscure place for a nest; tucked up inside the brick pillar that holds up our patio canopy roof. Although obscure, it’s well away from predators and we would assume lovely and warm.

In anticipation of their return, Mr A set up his GoPro, so we’ve got a ‘birds eye view’ of the activities in the nest. Hopefully I can blip more as things progress :-)
