Trips
We finally headed out into East Lothian today, to take a walk in the Lammermuirs. The day had its moments. One was managing to get a bit lost in Haddington making our way up to the starting point on Whiteadder Reservoir, because the settings on the map app that Mr A was using (rather than the car satnav) meant it was looking for routes which could be taken as a pedestrian :-( The car satnav got us safely home again :-)
In addition, the walk was not the most thrilling we've ever taken (a bit of an understatement...), but I enjoyed being out in the countryside, the weather was more than adequate, and we got lots of fresh air and exercise. And hopefully one decent walk will be a gateway drug to lots of others. I've added an extra of Whiteadder Reservoir.
Although we went to the supermarket on the way home, neither of us felt like cooking, so we've had takeaway fish and chips from the Fishmarket at Newhaven Harbour again. That's becoming a bit of a habit....
