Only a few

Up on the hill above the harbour there have once been houses with gardens, nowadays there are only two houses left. The old gardens are now feral (is this the right word?) wild with old fruit trees and flowers. The town, that now owns the land, allows people every autumn to pick off the fruits from the trees. I think you get to pick some flowers too, so I did, but only a few.

Thank you for the right word: wild.
