Duckling

A Mallard duckling on Lake Geneva this afternoon. He/she was closely watched by his parents but seemed to be the only surviving duckling.

Had a short wander by the lake after dropping my son off. It is definitely spring down there....the swallows had arrived back, a swan was sitting on her nest and the flowers were blooming. (See extras). A very different day in the mountains where we had sun , rain, cloud and snow.
