Been nowhere

so its a plant !!! ;( 
My avocado  has grown past the stick it was tied to.
The lower leaves seem to be dying. The upper ones have baby shoots growing but its gangly.I did nip the top but still it grows.
I might have to put it outside though it won't last long :(
