White water
Today is the last day of our mini-break to Cornwall. At the risk of sounding like the Cornish Tourist Board, this is the Golitha Falls on the River Fowey, taken early this morning in an attempt to beat both the light (I wanted a long exposure) and the weather (I assume it is going to rain again today).
I hope you appreciate my dedication to blip - it was very wet underfoot this morning after the rain yesterday and scrambling around on the rocks next to the river wasn't easy with a tripod in one hand.
I think it was worth it though?
Wikipedia says:
The name is pronounced Goleetha, derived from the word for obstruction in Cornish.
though I've always known it to be pronounced as it is written.
