The mouth of the Ría

The mouth of the Ría de Villaviciosa, taken from Morriyon. "Ría" is translated in the dictionary as "fjord", but to me, and whatever else, it seems to mean tidal estuary.
On the left bank of the ría is El Puntal, which was till the 1960s a cargo port but is now a pleasure-boat port. The sandy expanse on the right bank is the beach area at Misiego, a pleasant relaxation (and bird-watching) area but which becomes marshy at low tide.
There have been two ospreys, both male, that have for some years been stopping at Misiego to recharge on their route across the Bay of Biscay, sitting on poles a few hundred yards apart and ignoring each other, but one of them (named, whether he knows it or not, Boris) has stopped coming and the worst is feared.
Not visible is the beach at Rodiles, which runs left-right along the coastline.
