Small Tortoiseshell

A relaxed start to the day today with no real plans as my bird mates had decided not to be around for a catch up. Lovely weather so once up the bedding was washed and out on the line . A 2nd load was put un an we then went for a nice walk in search of a blip. A lovely walk along the river bank from Washingborough towards Fiskerton . 
Plenty of wildlife  around with plenty of butterflies enjoying the sunny weather with a selection of birds as well but most of them hiding in the bushes singing away. Managed a few butterfly shots when they stayed still including this lovely Small Tortoiseshell feeding away on the Dandelion. Also seen was plenty of Brimstones but they never settled and a lone comma . Also spotted my 1st Swallow for the year flying up the river.
Back home 2nd load of washing on the line masks all hand washed and also drying on the line  now watching some football on TV. Film night planned again tonight after watching doctor sleep last night
