Daily Bread

Reading this. It's not the normal sort of thing I read but I was intrigued.

I thought it would be more bread recipes but it's actually a journey of growing enough wheat to make bread for the year.

It's the writers journey and some pretty interesting history of well bread. The development or bread and the cultivation of wheat.

It's making me want to make bread more often. Well I cheat with a bread machine, but I I find it tiring to make totally from scratch, I do know how, having done it in the past.

I am thinking maybe I will have a go making a sourdough starter at some point.
