Male Sparrow Hawk.

We had to drop oldest back to university. I knew where the Sparrow Hawks where but not the path to find them (thanks to Life's Journey for the what3words) so we popped to see them first thing.

What a fantastic couple. Loved watching them. This is the male, who to be honest just sat sunning himself after doing the deed.

The Mrs did all the nest building, grabbing breakfast and chasing off the squirrels.

I loved the light on him....
