A grey old day on the Solway Firth, cold too with no sunshine. We had an easier day today and went to B and Q in Workington. Glamorous eh? 
After that we went and ate a picnic lunch in the car overlooking the sea like the  couple of old pensioners that we are. I wanted to find some oystercatchers but they don't like you getting too close. After taking a few photos we went a bit farther up the road towards Silloth and saw a huge flock of them on the beach , but there wasn't anywhere handy to stop.
