Negotiations

A low-key Sunday, drizzly and cold - so no gardening and no walk. 

Baloo, one of the neighbours’ cats, came visiting this morning. I opened the door for our cats to go outside and play, but Chaiyya only seemed to be guarding the threshold, occasionally hissing at Baloo, who didn’t react to that at all.
Rani, always the careful one, stayed back and didn’t even go near the door. 

They just sat like that for perhaps 10 minutes, probably negotiating a peace treaty.
