New wall

Over the past three years much work has been done in our local National Nature Reserve aimed at protecting and encouraging the rare flora which grows there.

Now that the work is completed and the heavy machinery has gone away we are being treated to some restoration work. This includes long sections of resurfaced paths and, as shown here the building of some sections of drystone walling. This is a very skilled task but it looks to me as though it is being very well done.
