Slim Pickings....

... on the photo front today.
It was foggy and wet all day. I took this photo and one other, the dog then flushed a pheasant from under the apple tree and chased it into the woods. By the time I'd put my boots & waterproofs on there was no sight of her.
I stomped about a bit and she found me (yes that way round) about half an hour later, by which time any remaining light had faded and it was time to get ready for my shift at 'The Local'

I have to confess to nursing a bit of a hangover today.... a rare occurrence chez Hugankiss.

The previously mentioned circus came round for dinner last night and as I didn't have to drive or walk I had half a glass too many!!

The circus is, more accurately, a young couple who run a stunt riding (horses not bikes) business, who have just moved in to the Victorian stable block. Great fun and very dynamic. Sugar Daddy was also invited along with a couple of other waifs and strays to make up numbers.

I think they will provide plenty of entertainment in all sorts of ways over the summer months.........

I plan to feel better tomorrow as I have a very early start, so please excuse the lack of interaction - again!!
