Birdwatching before breakfast

We went for our walk a bit earlier this morning to catch the morning chorus and do a bit of birdwatching. Last year’s dawn chorus was amazing at this time of the year because it was so quiet without the hum of the motorway traffic, but this year the hum is back. But we still managed to see a few birds, including the elusive chiffchaff. A good start to the day.
