The gorse...

...is in full bloom just now. Very bright and cheery.

A late afternoon walk in the sunshine. I do enjoy a later wander too...there is a different vibe to it.

It was sunny and even a wee bit warm. Very enjoyable. Changed the route a wee bit too, took a road we haven’t done for months so the wee change was welcome too.

Home and decided to order Indian for dinner. Tasty.

Es had her first day at work this year. She was back in Primark with colleagues getting the store ready for reopening next Monday. She brought cake home after her shift so that was enjoyed with a mug of tea before our walk:-)

Then, finally, the wee fella let me tackle his hair...I don’t think it’s been cut since August! He’s no longer looking at us from under his far too long fringe. The last year of having to be make do barber for the menfolk has not really perfected my skills...each time I do it differently!

Grateful for a relaxed wee Saturday, despite there being some work in there too.
