What a busy Saturday.

Soul was here, and the garden, as always, is looking the better for his visit. John’s guys were here and finished off relaying paving.

I put together the chicken Balmoral for dinner, and managed to almost set the kitchen ablaze when the gas flame ignited the whisky reducing for the whisky sauce.

Picked up some last-minute groceries, walked with Shiv for 3km, picked up and dropped some stuff off for June, and then went to Book Club.

Then it was back home to start cooking before a chilled evening with Stef and Wade, listening to 80’s music and talking nonsense.
