A New Addition

I haven’t had a typewriter since college, and really haven’t needed one or been interested in one, till recently.

I’m not sure what’s at play inside me, but I am tired of the technology. It’s there for all of my work, and play. And there is no real break from it.

So I’ve been doing some things to deliberately slow things down. To make some of the work take more deliberate thought and effort.

I use fountain pens and they are enjoyable, and slow. Now I’ve ordered a typewriter that is a year younger than me. How crazy is that?

Oh I don’t expect to use it for most things, but there will be some things I can use it for.

And I will use it with pleasure.
