A super day of sun, adventure and chat. We walked to Hampton Court Palace, looked at the palace, told the helpful lady that we didn’t want to come in. She had come out to tell us we couldn’t come in- funny job she has.

Then a nice paddle in the river and lunch! Outside a pub in the sun - these are all new words for 2021! Then another walk all along the river to Kingston bridge- 8 miles of walking all day! Planned our new campsite business we will have in the future.

Cab back to the campsite for some stretching and a sit me down. Then we played Splendor. As it turned out for many hours and in what ended up as complete darkness. At one point through the darkness came some beautiful choral singing. We decided one of our caravan neighbours were watching Prince Philip’s funeral. It sounded rather lovely.

Smashing day, I have a very red nose. And a few extras...
