Portmore Loch
With a great deal of sky. I've blipped this view before and the walk that includes it is one that has special significance: it was the last walk I did before the first lockdown and I did it again when we were allowed to travel to the Borders after the first lockdown - and yet again today, as the first walk after the second lockdown. It's a lovely walk with lots of variety and good views without having to exert yourself too much. There were perhaps a few more people today than normal but it wasn't at all busy on a day when there must have been a general exodus from Edinburgh now that we are allowed to travel Scotland-wide. We were so lucky with the weather which was perfect for walking: sunny and warm with a gentle breeze.
