Robin and Magnolia

I was going to go out and take a landscape today but Marian was working in the garden and her friendly little robin came to help. He kindly waited while I got the camera but he only gave me one chance and fortunately it was a good 'un. I did a bit more practice with a dunnock who was scolding Cato.

I probably need to do a bit of practice on birds in the air if I want to get a shot of eagles.

 We watched Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh's ceremonial funeral this afternoon. As usual it was done in the style that our forces do so well and provided some very poignant moments withe moving music that the Duke had chosen.
