Kirk O’ Shotts

Now we are allowed to travel out with our immediate local area and wanting to avoid any crowds, I decided to take a 25 minute drive to Kirk O Shotts church this morning. My paternal grandparents, whom I never knew , are buried there. I planted a few pansies at their graveside, then took a walk around the old graveyard. There are a lot of families with links to my family buried there. Although the church lies just off the M8, the main motorway between Glasgow and Edinburgh, it is a very peaceful place.
