Common sandpiper

we think. Spotted on the afternoon walk, another beautiful afternoon with a cool breeze when out of the sun.

The extra shows one of my favourite trees, a Hawthorn growing beside the Loch, (next to the bonfire site), I am watching the gradual greening and like the lower trunk, it’s twisted and I’m sure I can see a leg on the right hand side?
