Coming in for a closer look

This Canada Goose's mate is the only female (apart from the swan) that I have been able to spot on the nest. No sign of any youngsters yet .... last year I spotted my first gosling on May 2nd so not too long to wait .... I hope.

An early walk and shop this morning followed by a load of washing and then I was ready in the early afternoon to watch the funeral of the Duke of Edinburgh. It was a very moving ceremony and the representatives of the forces were totally outstanding in every task they performed.
