Shap Abbey

Met up with some friends at Shap this morning, and took a walk over the fields to Shap Abbey - yet another glorious day, and a little warmer than of late. 

The surviving West Tower was built in around 1500, around the tower lie the remaining buildings of the monastery, dating from between the 13th and early 16th centuries.
